Trends are designs, patterns, Styles, even way of life or living, the thing about trends is that it spreads like a virus and moves bi-directional.
Over the last century, several trends have traveled from coast to coast, changing households, people, dressing, dancing, and even speaking.
This latest trend cannot be ranked as one of the normal but rather extreme examples of trademark tend, even from the looks of it one can only imagine the kind of pain that the bearer may have during and after the procedure.
One thing about trends is that it´s not always adapted by those that first come in contact or get knowledge of its existence even at most times new trends are brought to families by offsprings.
Seeing this new trend would you be willing to be first in line to join it or would you allow your children to follow this trend? On the other hand, what would be your reaction if your child comes home one day from where ever with this new trend what would be your reaction?

The Federal Government says it will allocate 0.5% of Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product, GDP, to research and innovation to enhance the country’s economic growth and development.

President Muhammadu Buhari made the disclosure in a speech delivered today on his behalf by Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, at the opening of the 2021 Technology and Innovation Expo themed “Science, Technology, and Innovation for Economic Recovery and Sustainability Amidst COVID-19 challenges”.

Since the covid-19 pandemic from 2019, the level of governmental intrusion into people´s daily lives rose by 85%, it got so bad that in some countries people had to seek permission to go out for a walk.
Through the last year(2020) the inconsistencies on the part of governments, NGOs, Scientists, and of course the WHO has given rise to the people´s skepticism, with the government speaking of first, second and third waves one could only wonder how they know that the waves are coming or if they do then why did they not see the first wave? like people are standing in from of a seashore and observing the waves, the world is expected to wait, watch and follow the instructions of their political leaders without questions. Also, the speed at which vaccines were produced did not help to calm the skepticism but rather increase it because more people die from other solvable causes and still no one speaks about it, for example, the number of homeless deaths in America each year is more than the total deaths in a country like Slovakia.

Does the herdsmen and boko-haram violence help Buhari´s Government or will it help Buhari´s Government win re-election? According to polls conducted in 9jabranding only 5% of Nigerians who took the poll will vote for this current government.
If the current state of violence in Nigeria does not favour the current ruling political party then it would be fair to say that the thought of Buhari´s government involvement in the violence can be seen as shooting one own foot.
It has always been a Nigerian way to catch and punish the thief within our grasp but not the culprit who actually sent the thief, however, following the famous Yoruba proverb”Kokoro ti njẹ awọn ewa wa ninu awọn ewa”
There is very little doubt that within the current Buhari´s Government some group do exist that are complicit in the said violence but then again, the loyalty or allegiance is most likely to some other group.
In criminal psychology it’s a known fact that every crime has its benefactor/s so let use take a look at who benefits from the governments poor polling.
Regarding the ambushing of travellers being rubbed, kidnapped, killed who benefits and what is the motivation behind it? It is worth to consider now that since the crime on the travel ways local flights usage is now bigger than ever, if it is not a prudent approach to consider the involvement of those that 9jabranding considers as potential suspects instead of rushing into premature conclusions.
Since it´s independence Nigerians have been deceived by politicians, ethnic and religious leaders that sometimes results in lost of innocent lives, in the year 2021 Nigerians would want to know the truth and be led by transparency and not be led like sheep to slaughter, it is advices that poll takers think if APC will benefit and if not, then which political party is making gains?
